Broxap has been beautifying public spaces and has provided the standard for Street Furniture in the UK for over four decades. Following our acquisition of Streetscene in 1998, and several since, Broxap has now evolved into one of the UK's market leaders. Our street furniture collection is strong, durable and ergonomically designed, varying from practical installations from City Streets and Public Realm developments, to Private/Commercial and Local Government initiatives.

Commonly Broxap Streetscene is a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of innovative street furniture. We have used our expertise to bring together an extensive portfolio of brands so you can create distinctive and unique landscape transformation.

Our street furniture ranges from access control products; such as bollards, pedestrian parapet and traffic management items, to public open space furnishings; such as seats & benches, litter bins & recycling units, railings, tree protection and signage.

As the proud designers of the toughest range of steel and stainless steel litter bins in the UK, the Derby range, our products are robust pieces of furniture.

Our street furniture range provides bus shelters that help to give passengers a degree of protection and comfort while waiting for a bus. We also supply parent waiting areas, covered areas and canopies.

We have years of expertise in creating the most stylish and practical bollards to suit any specification. We can also customise the bollards, and any other street furniture, so our customers really achieve a truly unique, scheme specific end-product.

All steel, stainless steel, cast iron, recycled plastic products are both recycled and recyclable materials.

All timber items are sourced from FSC sources, and Broxap's polyurethane 'DURACAST' range of furniture is manufactured using a derivative of rapeseed oil.

Broxap Design & Build

For many, Broxap is purely a supplier of street furniture. Whereas today, as a specialist sub-contractor, we provide a single source solution offering design and build services to clients.

For projects that include complex architectural metalwork features, such as bespoke canopies or balustrading systems, a high degree of cost certainty and single-point responsibility make our appointment a sound choice for our customers. In commissioning Broxap to design, manufacture and install a project, our customers may reallocate valuable time and resource to other areas.

Cost certainty
Accurate budget costs are ascertained to support the cost planning of a project, to assist in delivering the most cost effective, practical solutions to a scheme or proposal.

Concept Planning
Our goal is to have an early involvement with a scheme, so that it may benefit in receiving first-hand knowledge from the concept planning stages through to completion, enabling us to work as an extension of your project delivery team. To assist with this, 3D rendered visualisations are presented for comment and approval.

Design
With this early contractor involvement, our experienced designers and engineers offer robust advice in technical discussions with structural engineers, architects and other consulting practices; so as to realise the client's vision.

Build
We carefully plan each activity for the most cost effective and programme efficient results, whilst incorporating our Health & Safety credentials into the manufacture and installation phases of the project delivery. Broxap Shelters

Broxap offers a complete project solution, from the initial consultancy right through to a fully installed shelter, canopy or walkway. We provide fully qualified individuals to assure our customers acquire the best results and ensure project management so you can liaise with the experts handling your shelter project.

Broxap supplies a large range of shelters which, may be used for a variety of applications; cycle parking, covered courtyards, smoking areas, passenger waiting, outdoor classroom, ambulance/minibus drop-off, walkway canopies and literally any covered area.

Shelters are available with polycarbonate, glass, waterproof PVC, shade netting, steel/aluminium and many other roofing/cladding materials, to suit any purpose. An advantage of our range of shelters is that they utilise many common components and are manufactured using common engineering principles from the same sections of steel; this in turn keeps the costs down and allows units to be infinitely modular, for future extension possibilities or other add-ons.
