In September 2006 Plymouth began the implementation of their recycling scheme, the key criteria was to have recycling unite that would be able to adopt to internal and external usage, allowing them to collect all required waste streams, be durable and robust and match their corporate designs.

Plymouth currently have 20 Stainless Steel SEPR8’s for external recycling, these units complement the existing contemporary street furniture, and are situated in all key locations around the campus.

Internally, there are 32 SEPR8’s which cream polyester powder coating units. These were designed to be in keeping with the new modern environment that has been created.
