J.Hughes & Sons Contractors required a barrel-vault canopy to be attached to the existing Victorian hospital which would project forward onto the pavement outside the building, providing shelter to patients and visitors.
Construction:
Composite cast/fabricated aluminium throughout.
6mm thick polycarbonate glazing.
"Ogee" gutter section providing internal drainage throughout the columns.
Cast aluminium columns, beams and spandrel brackets
