Hare Hill is a national park in sitting in the heart of Cheshire. This Cheshire National Trust park, which is located in the North West of England provides many families with a beautiful place to have a great picnic!
All you need to do is bring the food and a blanket, and eat ‘al fresco‘. You and your family will love eating amongst the beautiful wild flowers within the walled garden. Or if that isn’t your cup of tea, you can wander along the woodland path to find yourself one of the many specialist picnic areas.
And the fun doesn’t stop there, the youngest members of your family are sure to enjoy the many wooden hares scattered along the trail!
Carrick-a-Rede is an infamous rope bridge which is located in beautiful Northern Ireland.
This famous rope bridge is host to hundreds of visitors daily. People come from all over the UK to walk along this beautiful suspended bridge.

A picnic in this quaint seaside town calls for everything fish!
However, this one is not for the faint-hearted, as the bridge itself stands at a massive 30 metres above the rocks below…
Barfundle Bay is a ‘Caribbean style’ beach located in rural Wales. This beach might be man-made, but it has quickly become one of the most popular picnic spots in the UK.

By packing yourself some exotic fruit salad, and maybe some other interesting foods, you can turn your family picnic into something a little more exotic!
Loch Ness is a beautiful Loch, located in Scotland. It’s location is famously close to that of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the U.K. With the two being just an hour a way!

The shores of the loch are lined with picnic benches allowing diners to eat their sandwiches whilst keeping an eye out for Nessy!
