External Furniture at Tron Court Shopping Centre - Broxap

The redevelopment of this shopping area gave Broxap the opportunity to work with RJ McLeod (Contractors) Ltd. when they supplied a bespoke canopy solution to the project along with elements of external furniture.

Broxap provided a quite stunning monopitch canopy based around their Hartcliffe Cantilever design. The freestanding structure was constructed of galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 box section steelwork with a 10mm Heat Soaked Toughened Glass within aluminium glazing bars.

The Canopy is set to pitch away from the building allowing rainwater to shed away into integrated guttering at the front of the shelter and shed to ground level through downpipes attached at various columns.

Two canopies were installed one at 45000mm and the other 5000mm these sited in front of the existing shops to one side and private dwellings the other.

Along with the canopies the centre pedestrianised area benefitted from a series of Broxap Penny Farthing cycle stands in stainless steel as well as Derby Double E 240 Recycling Units and Derby E 120 Litter Bins.
