Today we unveil our bright new logo to reflect our focus on the positive actions we’re taking to drive sustainable manufacturing.
At Broxap, we have set real targets for embedding sustainability into our operations.
These actions are designed to support the transformation and growth of the business, as well as contribute to net zero targets, improve operational efficiency and increase our competitiveness.
Project Transform, as we call it, demonstrates how family-owned Broxap is committed to continual improvement as we strengthen our partnerships with clients through the high-quality design, manufacture and installation of our street furniture; shelters, canopies and walkways; cycle parking and outdoor gym and playground products.

Brighter

Project Transform is ensuring we provide a bright, modern manufacturing environment for our employees.
We’re bringing in new processes and equipment to conserve energy, upskill our team and enhance safety.
We’re investing £1.5 million in a new powder coating plant. Powder coating doesn’t generate harmful fumes or pollutants. It is solvent free and emits only negligible VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
The lack of solvents means powder coatings are non-hazardous for a safer workplace, while the benefits of powder coating include a durable finish for products with excellent longevity.
We’ve also overhauled our extraction system, investing in briquetting technology to transform waste sawdust into fuel which we will use to heat our factory.
These investments come on the back of the arrival of a new fibre laser cutting machine, a fleet of electric forklift trucks, and the consolidation of all our operations into one site to cut out travel between locations.

Bolder

We are being bold in our sustainability goals and making clear steps towards achieving them.
As a UK manufacturer, we understand that all businesses need to play their part in helping the country to achieve carbon footprint reduction objectives.
Under Project Transform, we’re harnessing solar power, with work due to start in 2023 to utilise the roof space at our factory and offices for power generation.
This goes hand in hand with our efforts to optimise and reduce energy consumption across the business.
We’re implementing new software too, enabling our sales and support teams to track individual orders more easily for a better customer journey.

Cleaner

We’re proud to be a Zero Waste to Landfill certified manufacturer.
Cleaner means smarter and our optimised processes are helping to minimise negative environmental impacts, improve quality and generate more sustainable products.
Being innovative in our approach is helping to optimise the lifecycle of our end products too.
We have always delivered long-lasting, durable products designed to serve generation after generation.
Now we’re achieving that same goal by using less energy and fewer resources, keeping products and materials in use for as long as possible by reusing, refurbishing and recycling where possible.

Making a difference

Our sustainable manufacturing improvements are all intended to deliver long term value to our customers and to the environment.
We take ownership of our products - from the creation of inclusive designs to serve communities across the UK to the recycling of materials from products which have reached end of serviceable life.
At Broxap we offer an open, reliable and friendly service and we believe the continuation of our sustainable improvement programme aligns our goals to those of our valued partners.
We don’t just look to the future, we aim to contribute to a better future for our clients, workforce and those who use and enjoy our products.
Our new logo encapsulates the power of taking positive action for sustainability, reflecting the value in what we do and how we do it. We hope you like it!
