Cycling, scooting, walking, wheeling – the Big Walk and Wheel is calling on schools across the UK to find an active way to get to classes.
As an event sponsor, Broxap Street Furniture is encouraging as many teachers and pupils as possible to sign up.
As well as a cleaner school run, the Big Walk and Wheel aims to improve the health and wellbeing of students, parents and teachers as they ditch the car and get moving.
During the last event, hundreds of schools made almost four million journeys by cycle, foot, wheelchair and scooter.
And we hope the experience encouraged many more healthy commutes throughout the following year.

Broxap is proud to work with sustainable travel charity Sustrans in the Big Walk and Wheel.
Helping more people get out on their bikes is an issue close to our hearts.
We believe having the right infrastructure in place removes some of the barriers preventing people cycling in their community.
And with safe, strong and secure cycle and scooter parking provision readily available in our neighbourhoods, those who haven’t considered cycling before may be spurred on to give it a try.
As an event partner, Broxap has donated a junior-size cycle parking rack and a scooter rack, which are perfect for primary schools, as prizes.
On each day of the challenge, participants compete to see who can record the greatest number of pupils, staff and parents cycling, walking, scooting or using a wheelchair to school.
All schools will be entered into daily prize draws for rewards.
