At Broxap Street Furniture, our aim is to design, manufacture and install the very best street furniture for every town, city and village across the UK.
Building for the great outdoors takes something extra. Exposure to the elements, the hurly burly of public use, the strain of repeated operation.
It all takes its toll.
That’s why we create street furniture products that can stand the test of time.
We want generations to enjoy the views from our benches, to revisit the same picnic areas of their youth, to carry on meeting their friends at the park bandstand well into retirement.
Creating pleasant, welcoming outdoor areas is what we do best.

Keeping our home in order

Green and clean is our motto – our litter and recycling bins are the toughest, most durable on the market.
Our planters collection includes something for every space and scheme, and our extensive range of bollards, shelters and railings keeps all sites smart and tidy.
As a family business, Broxap has been in operation for 75 years, connecting people to their surroundings and giving them the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of being outdoors.
Celebrating our environment is part of our heritage – and there has never been a more important time to stick to our roots and encourage the green development of areas for a flourishing future.

Why we need trees in our cities

Under the Urban Tree Challenge Fund, more than 44,000 trees will be planted to support people’s health and wellbeing and help address the impact of climate change.
The Government drive will focus on areas close to schools and healthcare centres as well as places suffering social deprivation.
Evidence from Forest Research shows the majority of adults surveyed agreed that their level of happiness when close to nature has increased since the pandemic.
The Urban Tree Challenge Fund will complement a new action plan which will see the planting of high quality woodlands and improvements to existing ones.
It is one of a number of Government support packages announced, including the Local Authority Treescapes Fund£12.1 million of investment for tree planting in Community Forests across the country, a £3.9 million pot to support innovative planting schemes in towns and cities and near rivers to reduce flood risk, and a tree health pilot.

Bright and beautiful

The quality of our environment is hugely important, no matter where we live, work or visit.
Our products are all designed to enhance natural surroundings. We apply skill, cutting edge technology and make use of premium materials to develop infrastructure to help areas bloom.
This includes our Seated Planters range, allowing people to immerse themselves in a pocket oasis, and our Modular Blox Benches, which are designed to bespoke requirements with the addition of planters along the configuration of the furniture.
Greening streets, plazas and market squares is also supported through our tree grilles and guards, and our flower basket brackets, columns and stands bring a splash of colour to our high streets.

Applications to the Urban Tree Challenge Fund are still open until July 25. The Urban Tree Challenge Fund provides 50 per cent funding of standard costs for planting large trees and their establishment costs for three years following planting. The funding supports the cost of buying a tree, planting in grass, the cost of basic protection – such as a tree guard - and the labour required to plant it.
