Working in-conjunction with  Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd. Broxap were tasked with providing a cost effective secure cycle parking hub at this rail station.

The hub needed to be high visibility, facilitate two tier cycle stands within and also have a proximity key operated access door and cctv.

Broxap took the skeleton of one of their Newcastle Symmetric Shelters and added a trapezoidal roof cladding and steel mesh panels to the sides, front and rear.  The Hub is accessed via an automatic sliding door which has toughened glass and is activated from a main control board with speed control and sensor inputs, emergency unit, 6 position key switch and an internal exit push button and green break glass point.

CCTV cameras are positioned inside and outside of the hub and feedback to the main security control room.

This unit offers an economic, ‘value for money’ solution whilst incorporating quality engineering to provide high security. To view the new Anti-Vandal Eco Hub product online, click here.
