Working in conjunction with Kier who were the main contractor on this new build school (the school was formally known as Chalkhill Primary School), Broxap were tasked with designing and delivering a series of monopitch shelters. The school site also required items of cycle parking including Sheffield Cycle Racks and Scooter Racks.

The Newcastle Monopitch Shelters have a 16mm Structured Multiwall polycarbonate clad roof. Within the rear canopy roof there is also a removable square section that allows access to windows above the canopy for cleaning purposes.

The canopies feature a weather resistance barrier that covers the doorways. This protects from rainfall between the canopy and the entrance to the buildings. The canopy also features aluminium guttering and downpies to discharge rainwater 150mm below ground level.
