Our installation team turned a small patch of ground into a useful cycle parking area at Calmore Junior School.
Working to approved drawings, a concrete base was constructed as part of the project.
After excavating the ground, a solid level base was laid in preparation for the installation of a cycle shelter and stands.
The Southampton school chose a Wardale standard shelter which has room for up to 14 cycles.
The shelter was powder coated sky blue to match the school’s colours and our mild steel Sheffield cycle stands were installed.
The Sheffield cycle stand is extremely popular as each stand can accommodate up to two bikes.
Coupled with Broxap’s Wardale cycle shelter, the investment has resulted in a safe and secure cycle parking area for students.
The clear PETg cladding means owners can keep their bikes clean and dry. The Wardale is a modular shelter, which can be extended at future dates to accommodate growth in demand for parking provision. The project supports the school’s commitment to ensuring good health and wellbeing among pupils.
From design to production, delivery to installation, our shelters division supports clients in their improvement projects throughout the entire process.
