Farnborough Court is a new state-of-the-art housing development designed specifically for people aged 55 and over. The building is set within the grounds of a new mixed-use community, with excellent communal facilities and landscaped gardens.

All the homes within the facility have been designed to promote independent living while ensuring maximum comfort and accessibility. Efficient air-source heat pumps, solar-generated electricity, green living roofs, and EV charging points provide heating and hot water.

The scheme contributes to the NCHA's Strategic Partnership with Homes England, which will deliver new, affordable homes across the East Midlands.

A range of Broxap street furniture products add usability and improve the project's aesthetics. Our ever-popular Litchard Seats provide a comfortable place for residents and visitors to sit, socialise and enjoy the courtyard area. Manufactured with a heavy-duty steel frame, galvanised and powder coated in anthracite grey, and seven sturdy FSC-certified timber slats, they bring a touch of warmth to the outdoor greenery.

Also within the courtyard is our Linear Cycle Shelter. A modern and stylish bike storage system, it is manufactured with a steel frame, softwood slats and a polycarbonate roof. The shelter is complete with a Sheffield Cycle Rack inside, creating eight safe cycle parking spaces.

Behind the building, our Blox D shelter was installed for a more secure cycle parking option. The timber cladding and robust steel roof are complete with a mesh gate for a stylish look. Inside are two more of our Sheffield Cycle Racks, creating 16 secure spaces for those who want extra peace of mind when parking their bike.

To further increase the number of cycle parking spaces available, several of our Secured by Design accredited Sheffield Cycle Stands were root-fixed around the perimeter of the building.

Rounding off the project, our Stainless Steel Bollards create an architectural perimeter and add a layer of protection around the building.
