The New South Glasgow Hospitals Project is the largest design and construction project in Scotland consisting of the construction of four main buildings set within the New South Glasgow Hospitals campus – an adult hospital, a children’s hospital, a laboratory and an energy centre.
Keep It Kool at Broxap have been privileged to work on a number of packages within this project; one of which was the Walkway & Entrance Canopies for the new Accident & Emergency department.
Initially a glass canopy was required, however the architect decided that a tensile walkway would better more appropriate for this usage. After a rigorous tender process Broxap were awarded the contract working with the client’s main contractors.
We provided a 184m2 bespoke tensile canopy to the A&E building, providing shelter for both incoming & outgoing patients and staff.
