Police & Fire Service HQ, Worcester

When Willmott Dixon Construction were bidding for the contract to build a brand new emergency control and communication centre, Broxap were on hand to provide a solution to their street furniture needs. The contractor for West Mercia Police and Fire Service in Worcester required a cycle store and an outdoor dining area which would be long-lasting and cost effective.

In order to complement the architect’s design, Broxap provided a contemporary aesthetic: a customised Apollo Cycle Shelter and Malvern Picnic Units.

In terms of cycle security, Broxap’s Sheffield Stands were the perfect match as an instantly recognisable, user-friendly solution for secure storage. The shelter itself was produced to match the client’s needs in terms of cladding colour, finish to framework, and size of the overall unit. Even though the unit was lengthened, the sleek, curved design of the Apollo Shelter ensure that its minimalist appearance is not compromised.

The outdoor furniture was requested towards the end of the project, however Broxap produced this entire package to the highest standard in accordance with the timing of the project’s completion.
