Pritchatts Park Student Village, University of Birmingham

Loading... 176 view(s)

As the UK’s seventh largest university with over 38,000 students, the University of Birmingham boasts three student accommodation villages, each having its own distinct character and feel. Pritchetts Park is home to some of their newest and most sustainable accommodation, which can be found nestled in leafy, landscaped grounds.

Working with Equans, Broxap was commissioned to design and manufacture a range of new street furniture for the Pritchetts Park student village as part of its development. The £200 million transformation included the construction of 496 new energy-efficient student rooms and the extensive refurbishment of 734 existing rooms.

Custom steel and timber benches with and without backrests, as well as wall solid top seats were installed, offering versatile seating solutions across various locations in the village for students to relax, socialise and study.

Our Swansea Bollards serve a practical purpose by providing security to pedestrian areas and contributing to the modern look of the campus.

A number of our Derby Double Slim Recycling Bins help to address litter concerns and promote a cleaner environment. The strategically placed bins have made it more convenient for residents and visitors to dispose of their waste responsibly.

The installation of Sheffield Cycle Stands provides a designated area for students to securely park their bikes. This encourages sustainable transportation methods and promotes a healthier lifestyle within the university community.

The arrival of our Sneyd Hill Picnic Benches and Sneyd Hill Picnic Unit with Wheelchair Access have been a hit among residents, especially during the warmer months, adding a sense of inclusive vibrancy to the accommodation area.
