Rowanbank Gardens’ namesake stems from the indigenous Rowan tree, recognisable from its white summer blooms and sweet red berries. A pioneering low carbon development, all the apartments benefit from full-height windows allowing for gorgeous views of the gardens, with the complex full of green roofs and climbing plants.
Working with Stark Building Materials, Broxap designed and manufactured seating, bins and cycle parking for the gardens of the new residential development.
Our Litchard Seats and Helston Curved Benches were placed in various locations, such as near pathways and open green spaces to provide residents with comfortable resting spots. Litchard Picnic Units featuring a durable steel frame powder coated to goose grey were also installed, catering to families and groups wishing to enjoy meals outdoors.
All the timber used in the seating is FSC certified, complying with the housing development’s superb environmental credentials which played a major factor in winning them the ‘Excellence in Sustainability’ Award at the 2023 Scottish Homes Awards.
Our Westleigh Bins were added to encourage litter management and promote recycling practices among residents; while Stainless Steel Sheffield Cycle Stands provide secure storage for bicycles, promoting cycling as an eco-friendly commuting option.
