As part of Leicester County Council’s ‘Travel Plan Initiative’, Broxap installed a series of junior cycle shelters and scooter racks at St. Peter’s Primary School, Leicester.

The school organised a grand opening and invited Keelan Phillips, European Champion freestyle BMX rider, to open the new shelters.

On the day, Leicester County Council’s travel planners were joined by one of our area sales managers, head teacher Michael Bailey, Keelan Phillips and a whole host of excited pupils to cut the ribbon on the shelters, and announcing the new cycle and scooter parking areas officially open.

The school were delighted with Broxap’s service and the shelters and racks they supplied. In fact, these facilities have been so successful that the amount of pupils cycling to school vastly increased – the shelters and racks even started to become oversubscribed! The school started looking to garner resources to eventually add more shelters and racks, in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to cycle to school.
