Broxap recently completed the design, manufacture and installation of state-of-the-art fabric canopies for Huddersfield Town Football Club. The project involved designing two of our durable Double Conic structures, tailored to match the stadium’s theme and architecture.

Manufactured using high-quality PVDF material, the canopies provide shade and rain protection for around 200 people, improving experiences during match days and events.

This choice of material ensures that the canopy maintains its structural integrity and visual appeal over time, with the aerodynamic shape facilitating rainwater drainage and minimising wind resistance.

The main structure was galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and powder coated in Sky Blue (RAL5015) to match the football club’s traditional colours. This colour choice also complements the giant mural created by Artist and Town fan Peter O’Toole, which captures the passion, loyalty and history that surrounds the club.

The fabric element was done in our standard white colour to create a bright, ambient feel beneath.

The stadium has succeeded in providing shelter and comfort for fans, as well as enriching the overall identity and functionality of their venue.
