Working with Kier Construction – London, Broxap were asked to provide a 33 metre canopy at the new £49 million Emergency Department and Assessment Centre at Wexham Park Hospital.

The brand new large canopy can accommodate up to eight Ambulances at any one time.

Making it the perfect addition to this brand new department!

The canopy was to have a Standard Seam Roof, and Broxap worked in conjunction with RCB (Roofing, Cladding & Building) Ltd to create a Kalzip standing seam roof system.

Integral lighting was also added beneath the canopy, and Broxap supplied a series of lamp post protectors to the support columns and protect them from vehicle impact.

The project was quite difficult due to access and restrictions on site. However, Broxap completed the project in plenty of time for the hand over from Contractor (Kier) to client.
