First class welfare facilities have been installed at a North East fulfilment centre where more than 1,000 workers will be based.
Contractor ISG has completed a three-storey warehouse on the outskirts of Wynyard Business Park, a prestigious employment park which is home to more than 60 companies.
The global construction, fit out and engineering company commissioned Broxap Street Furniture to design, manufacture and supply a range of outdoor furniture and planters to complement the landscaped grounds at the major warehouse site.
The facilities will offer outdoor dining and seating areas for employees.
The grounds feature eight Thornhill Mild Steel and Timber Picnic Units with planed and sanded iroko slats an a powder coated galvanised steel frame.
A further seven Thornhill Benches at a standard 1800mm long were manufactured for the site along with two bespoke Thornhill Benches at 1200mm long. All the benches feature armrests at each end.
A total of four Lanarkshire Planters, standing at 750mm high and finished with two gold alloy bands, complete the order. These were treated with an anti-corrosive zinc galvanising coating and polyester topcoat to ensure a long service life.
