A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a bright, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our busy Transport Department.
The Job Role:
Inputting of data to parcel, pallet & dedicated carries including HGV and specialised vehicles.
Up keep of logs & manifests.
Contacting customers to arrange delivery of goods.
Calling carriers to obtain POD’s, ETA & damage claims
Forming a link between customer services & the customer regarding delivery
Scanning & filing as required
Communicating with suppliers to organise collection of product.
To succeed in this challenging role, candidates should ideally possess the following:
Skills and Experience:
Good communication skills.
Strong organisational ability.
Good geographical awareness.
Possess a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and have a high level of computer literacy;
Meticulous attention to detail;
Excellent time management skills to ensure that time is managed effectively;
Can work under own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
Positive, can do attitude.
Planning experience and haulage knowledge essential.
CPC management qualifications advantageous
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
Half an hour unpaid lunch break
