Godmanchester Bridge Academy

Broxap won the contract to provide an external works package to the project.

This allowed Broxap to work on a prestigious new academy alongside Keir Construction, appointed by Cambridgeshire County Council. The package was quite extensive and featured a series of Coventry Gullwing-style cycle shelters with Harrogate stands beneath.

In addition to the cycle parking solutions, Broxap also provided a series of door barriers across the school site and Whitwell and Roslin benches.

The school is being provided to support a new major housing development and will be the first education development on the site. This scheme will provide education for 420 primary school age children plus 52 pre-school age children.

It is intended that the school is constructed at the same time as remaining development (David Wilson Homes). The permanent infrastructure will be in place prior to construction works; this will enable safe, permanent access to and from the school site.
