This impressive and dramatic £7.5 million project forms part of the initial phase of Stanhope’s Kings Quarter regeneration programme and provides a new gateway to the city.
The building has a single roof plane resembling an aircraft wing referencing Gloucester’s unique aviation history, as well as providing a dramatic structural form.
The wing also has an aerofoil section and is punctuated at various points to allow light to flood into the concourse and bus stands.
Broxap’s mild steel Ilford Seats were installed throughout the transport hub alongside a number of our Derby Hi-Vis Security litter bins. A total of 28 seats were positioned in varying configurations, providing seating for 120 passengers and were colour-coordinated to blend seamlessly into the transport hub’s surroundings and colour scheme.
Our highly security-conscious litter bins complemented Broxap’s Ilford seats with a grey coloured body and striking yellow pyramid-style top.
These litter bins feature unique style Hi-Vis transparent panels and an internal pivoting sack retention system, ensuring that no matter how sensitive the environment may be, you can be assured that your waste will be contained in a secure, yet visible manner.
