At Broxap we understand that the best way to encourage cycling in the long-term is by promoting the benefits of cycling to the younger generation.

And one of the best ways to do this is to promote safe cycling - and scooting - in schools which is why we’re giving one lucky school the chance to win one of our Sofco Junior Cycle/Scooter Shelters!

The shelter comes with enough space to securely park six cycles and three scooters - giving your pupils all the more reason to start cycling into school knowing their bike will be safe and secure all day.

Top 5 Tips for Cycling/Scooting to School Safely

  • Wear a Helmet - check that your helmet fits properly
  • Be Safe - Be Seen - make sure you are visible by wearing hi-vis or flourescent clothing or bands
  • Be Careful Where You Ride - avoid cycling in areas where common falls occur
  • Hand Signals - Signals help motorists know wehre you are going
  • General Rules of the Road - Follow the rules of the road, do not carry a passenger and keep both hands on the handlebars

The organisers reserve the right to cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary, or if circumstances arise out of its control.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

Closing date for entry will be 23:59 on Monday 19th June 2017. After this date then no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is as follows: A Sofco Junior Mini-Shelter which contains 6 cycle and 3 scooter parking spaces. Powder coated in a standard Broxap colour.

Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by the Promoter.

The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be delivered. Cycle shelter will be delivered to a UK address ony.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
