Where security is essential but excavation depth is limited, the CT50 Shallow Mount Low Penetration Bollard offers a high-performance solution without compromising on protection. Independently tested to IWA-14:2013, this security bollard is certified to mitigate attacks from 7,200kg vehicles travelling at 50mph, with a controlled penetration depth of 0.6 metres.
Its shallow foundation design makes the CT50 particularly suited to challenging environments such as heritage sites, diplomatic buildings and high-security government installations, where maintaining existing ground conditions is a priority. The compact installation depth of 230–330mm allows for effective protection in areas where deeper foundations cannot be achieved.
Supplied as a three-bollard array with standard 1200mm spacing, the CT50 creates a reliable security barrier while offering design flexibility through optional custom stainless steel or Performa-Cast polymer sleeves.
