Durascopic Telescopic Bollards

To allow periodic access Broxap supply a range of telescopic bollards. The main advantage of this type of retractable street bollards is the ease of operation and the fact that, unlike a removable bollard, they do not need to be taken off-site for storage.

When access is required the bollard, which is key operated, is lowered into a submerged outer casing which features a gravity fed flush fitting lid which covers the aperture.

Various systems include a lift assist mechanism, this consists of a gas strut fitted to the base of the bollard which dramatically reduces the lifting weight of the bollard.

Telescopic mild steel systems are available with both round, square and decorative post options.

Mild steel posts are supplied hot dip galvanized to BN EN ISO 1461:1999 or may be supplied nylon coated in a range of BS or RAL colours.
