Benches & Seats

Which seats are best suited to areas which are prone to vandalism?

Not all seats are vandal resistant. Recycled plastic slats are prone to fire damage as are timber seats which would not withstand a prolonged direct attack. Mild steel seats are best suited to areas of vandalism.

What is the normal sitting height of a seat?

The nominal sitting height of the seat varies depending on the type of seat. A typical height is 450mm. Out benches range from 420mm-520mm.

Tree Protection

What is the largest tree grille available?

The large grille is approximately 2000mm square.

What is the smallest tree grille available?

The smallest grille available in our current range is 700mm square.

How are tree guards attached?

On Broxap systems, the tree frame is supplied with lugs to which the guard is bolted. If a tree guard is not required the frame is supplied without lugs.

A guard may be fitted at a later date but would be supplied with spiked legs which simply stick into the ground.

Buderus systems use a clip arrangement which secure the guard to the grille itself.

Can a tree grille be fitted after a tree has been planted?

Yes, by utilising detachable central supports on a medium duty frame.
