The Turvec Electric Bike Charging Point is a next-generation cycling infrastructure solution designed to combine secure bike parking with integrated e-bike charging capability.
Developed on the innovative IBOMBO CEON platform, this system provides a modular and scalable approach to cycle parking, allowing installations to be configured to suit a wide range of environments; from transport hubs and workplaces to universities, residential developments and city centres.
Each unit is constructed from galvanised, powder-coated steel, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to corrosion, vandalism and weather exposure in UK conditions. Its contemporary, minimalist design allows it to integrate seamlessly into both modern and heritage environments.
The system is designed to support secure on-site parking, with each module accommodating individual bicycles in an organised, space-efficient layout. Optional integrated e-bike charging allows cyclists to conveniently charge their bikes while parked, supporting the growing shift towards electric and micro-mobility transport.
At the core of the charging functionality is the IBOMBO CEON electrical module, which delivers safe and reliable power through multiple 230–250V sockets, supported by advanced electrical protection systems. Components are housed within a secure enclosure and protected by anti-tamper fixings, ensuring safe use in public environments.
The Turvec Electric Bike Charging Point is also technology-ready, with the ability to incorporate smart access control and digital locking systems, enabling operators to manage usage, enhance security and gather data where required. This makes it particularly suitable for projects aligned with smart city and sustainable transport strategies.
Combining security, flexibility and future-ready technology, this system provides a practical and scalable solution for modern cycling infrastructure across the UK.
