Inclusive Upper Body Training for Wheelchair Users

The Wheelchair Accessible Combi Pull Down Challenger & Power Push is designed to provide accessible upper-body exercise within outdoor gym environments. Unlike standard multi-gym stations, this unit has been configured specifically for wheelchair users, allowing direct engagement without transfer or assistance.

By combining two exercise movements into one station, the equipment supports efficient use of space while offering varied upper-body activity.

Combined Pull Down and Push Movements

The unit incorporates both pull down and forward push actions, allowing users to engage different muscle groups through controlled, self-directed movement. Resistance is generated by the user’s own effort, enabling intensity to be adapted naturally to individual strength and ability.

This combination supports shoulder mobility, arm strength and coordinated movement through repetitive, low-impact exercise.

Accessible Design for Shared Outdoor Gyms
