With the aim to equip their £45 million training complex, Darren Baldwin, Grounds Manager at Tottenham Hotspur FC invited Stadia Sports to tender for the supply and manufacture of over 100 football goals, as well as team dugout shelters.

The initial design consultation focused mainly on the supply of the Freestanding Box Goal, however this evolved into over 100 goals including, fold to wall goals, freestanding stadium goals, freestanding elliptical goals and folding elliptical goals. These would all be used within this fantastic training facility. Further to this, they also requested bespoke designed two tier dugout shelters. These would need to provide a 360° view, as well as ample shelter for players, coaches and managers who would be viewing from the side lines.

Following the initial consultations, Stadia worked with the client making further amendments to the designs ensuring they matched their vision. This was essential in securing Stadia’s involvement in this prestigious project. Throughout this process Stadia were commended for their communication and ability to work closely with the client as well as the competitive pricing, flexible approach and innovative bespoke designs.

Due to the tight time scales given to this project, Stadia Sports worked closely with officials to ensure deadlines were met, ensuring everything was in place for the grand opening.

Since opening, Tottenham Hotspurs now infamous training ground has become host to many sporting heroes with the likes of Harry Kane himself training with Stadia supplied goals. In addition to the first team, Hotspur Way also provides a training ground for the academy, as well as other development teams, and additional training programmes. The aforementioned training programmes have already engaged over 2,500 people, spanning across all age groups and abilities, and boasts a fantastic 17,000 hours of training, education, mentoring, coaching and much more.

In addition to the above, Stadia’s expertise were sort after to also provide equipment for the training grounds’ indoor pitches, as well as goals and corner flags for the infamous White Hart Lane Stadium which was home to Tottenham Hotspur FC for 118 years.
