What is a seated planter?

A seated planter is a planter with a bench built into its frame. Instead of specifying a standalone planter and a separate bench side by side, an integrated planter bench shares a single structural frame, sits on a single foundation, and occupies roughly half the ground-level footprint.

Oswestry range

Galvanised steel frame with timber seating. Available in box, oval, double, and large formats. The Oswestry Box Seated Planter suits compact high-street settings. The Oswestry Box Double provides seating on both sides for wider pedestrian areas. The Oval Seated Planter introduces curved geometry for settings that follow curved pathways.

Blox modular range

A modular planter bench system available in seven configurations: Zig Zag, Star, Extra Long, Mirrored Angular, S-Shaped, Bench, and straight formats. The Blox system creates angular, curved, and linear layouts from standard modules. Best for large-scale public realm schemes, campus designs, and settings that require a distinctive geometric layout.

Cubus Modular Seated Planter System

Configurable in straight runs, L-shapes, and U-shapes. Best for flexible schemes where the layout may change over time, or for a linear run of planters with seating along a building frontage or pedestrian route.

Square Planter Seat (BX/PD 450015)

A central timber planter surrounded by bench seating on all sides. From £823. Particularly effective for schools, playgrounds, public parks, and community gardens. Supports tree planting or seasonal greenery. Creates a defined gathering point within larger external spaces.

Weyburn Curved Bench with Planters

A curved planter with seating that introduces a flowing, organic line. Suits contemporary public realm and commercial landscape schemes where straight-line layouts feel too rigid.

A dedicated planter bench combining planting and seating in a single unit for courtyards, entrances, and smaller public spaces.

All seated planters are manufactured at Broxap's UK fabrication plant. Steel frames are hot-dip galvanised. Planter bodies and timber seating are available in any BS/RAL colour, powder-coated to match existing streetscape schemes or corporate branding.
