Duracast™ Polyurethane (PU) is impact and chipping resistant with an excellent strength and durability. At Broxap, they ensure the product is immune to rusting and both chemical and natural corrosion, like salt water and dog urine. To do this they coat and galvanise the benches and seats, as well as creating them from 100% recycled stocks. To prevent shattering impact Broxap also cast the steel core, which is manufactured to British Standard BS 4848 Cold formed to CFA 1.
Broxap offers heavy duty coating which comes from the primer coat of paint. The high gloss finish, two-part, polyurethane paint, is available in all RAL/BS specifications. This provides the ultimate levels of weathering, colour retention, solvent resistance and abrasion resistance. It also gives Duracast benches a wide range of resistance to chemicals which leads to a minimal maintenance cost.
The standard polyurethane casting material is coloured black, therefore, making it ideal for items requiring a dark paint finish. However, other colours can be added to the pigment.
