Broxap won the contract to provide an external works package for this project.

This allowed Broxap to work on a prestigious new academy alongside Keir Construction, appointed by Cambridgeshire County Council.

This external works package was quite extensive and featured a series of Coventry Gullwing-style cycle shelters with Harrogate stands beneath.

As well as these cycle parking solutions, Broxap also provided a series of door barriers across the school site and Whitwell and Roslin benches.

The school is set to support a new major housing development as the first education development on the site.

Significantly, this scheme will provide education for 420 primary school age children plus 52 pre-school age children.

The intention is that the school’s construction takes place at the same time as remaining development (David Wilson Homes). Fortunately, Broxap’s expert team provided these products with their usual punctuality and no-hassle approach.

The permanent infrastructure will be in place prior to construction works; this will enable safe, permanent access to and from the school site.
