As part of a new retirement complex in North Humberside Broxap were asked by Wates Construction to provide a tensile canopy which would provide a focal point to the outdoor area.
The canopy was to provide a dry area for residents to congregate and socialise.
Broxap provided a large bespoke tensile hexagonal curved edge parasol with galvanised steel elements powdered coated goose grey and the waterproof fabric itself was in blue to give a nice contrast.
Broxap had to overcome some difficulties with site access which was achieved by re-engineering the central mast so it could be split into two elements for easy handling and installation within the designated installation area.
