Broxap have completed an outdoor classroom area for the pupils attending St. Bartholomew’s CofE Primary School in Loughborough.

Broxap were contacted by the school, in regards to their need for an outdoor classroom. Broxap happily took on the project, and discussed the requirements with their Key Stage 1 (KS1) co-ordinator and assistant SENCo, Kirsty Rowntree.

The school required  a fully covered area which would sit directly outside of the KS1 classroom. As an extra outdoor area which would facilitate the young children during the school day.

This sheltered area allows pupils to play and learn outside of the traditional classroom environment. Whilst being protected from both light rain and sun.

To meet the needs of the school, Broxap suggested a Newcastle Asymmetric Canopy with guttering to the front of the canopy which captures rainwater and feeds it into an existing downpipe located on the school building.

The Result…

Broxap have completed the work, on the outdoor classroom, and it is lovely to see how much the children at St Bartholomew’s have been enjoying their new space.

The children have a brand new fantastic outdoor area which can be used during the school day come rain or shine.

The pupils were so impressed with every aspect of their experience with Broxap that they took up their pens, pencils and crayons and created a huge thank you card.

Kirsty Rowntree presented the card to Broxap with a big ‘Thank You” from the pupils.
