As the world continues to shift towards renewable energy sources, the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) has been on the rise. This has led to an increase in the demand for electric vehicle charging stations. While charging stations are convenient for EV owners, they are also vulnerable to damage from weather elements, vandalism, and accidents.

Broxap developed an innovative solution to address this issue - EV charger protectors. Marking the start of Broxap's EV offerings, we developed six bespoke square-shaped EV charger point protectors. Broxap worked with the client to take accurate dimensions. Our detailed sketches clearly showcased the barrier's size and the base's adaptation to ensure zero interference with the cables.

The powder-coated charging point protectors, coloured cobalt blue to match RAL 5013, complemented the grey and navy Kanta House aesthetics. The structured design perfectly aligns with the building's modern look, enhancing the company's value and reputation.

Both electric vehicle owners and operators have well received the protectors. The project has shown that innovative solutions can significantly improve the EV charging infrastructure and promote the adoption of electric vehicles.

The EV charging point protectors are a step in the right direction, and we hope to see more innovative solutions to support electric vehicle growth.
