Broxap is delighted to be named an official Platinum Partner to Stoke City FC as headline sponsor of the SCFC Academy.

The deal will see the Broxap name return to the front of the red and white shirt for all Academy teams, almost 30 years after the family business sponsored the first team in the 1995/96 season.

As a Staffordshire business Broxap is keen to support home-grown talent with our managing director Robert Lee a life-long Potters fan.

Investing in the future generation of players by giving young people the opportunity to develop their skills is the perfect match with our business objectives of creating outdoor spaces where people can spend time together, enjoy activities and benefit from a boost to wellbeing.

The 2023 sponsorship announcement comes during an exciting time for the club which recently revealed former captain Ryan Shawcross would be joining the Academy in the role of under 18s coach.

Why sponsor the Stoke City Academy?

Founded in 1946 in Harriseahead, Broxap has stayed true to its Staffordshire roots. Operations moved to the current Rowhurst Industrial Estate site in 1994 and over the last three years, more than £3 million has been invested in the latest technology to support sustainable manufacturing practices.

Over the years Broxap has developed into a leading UK designer, manufacturer and installer of street furniture; shelters, canopies and covered walkways; cycle parking infrastructure and outdoor gym and playground equipment.

Clients work in a range of sectors including transport, healthcare, hospitality and leisure, the public realm and education.

Products are all designed to transform outdoor spaces so more people can draw on the benefits of spending time outside, take up active travel opportunities and connect with their community.

These are values the Lee family believes in and sponsoring the Academy not only helps Broxap connect with its community, it also emphasises the importance of access to fitness and wellbeing for everybody.

Situated in the borough of Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Broxap’s headquarters are a mere 15-minute drive from the Academy Dome development centre in Trentham Lakes and the Clayton Wood training facility in Trent Vale.

Under the partnership with Stoke City, Broxap’s branding will be made prominent at many of the club’s locations including the bet365 Stadium.

This holds a real affinity with Broxap which has products in a wide range of sports venues, including litter bins, pitch-side dugouts and cycle parking facilities.

As a result of both the shared values and strong historical and geographical links that are held between the two organisations, it is hoped that the partnership will help to strengthen each party, in both supporting the local community, and working to achieve their shared goals.
