This School required an outdoor classroom and was particularly interested in the Delamere Symmetric Timber Canopy which is an FSC® (FSC-C122338) certified Softwood Timber structure with galvanized submerged fixing baseplates and a ClearView Polycarbonate clad roof.
The shelter was installed within the playground area Broxap excavating and removing turf and soil before installing the canopy onto poured concrete bases and then installing an artificial grass floor which the school also requested in and around the shelter itself.
The finished result provides a ‘natural’ look and feel to the outdoor classroom.
