Bringing together services from Walsall Hospital Trust and Walsall Community Health, Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust was formed on the 1st of April 2011 to provide integrated care to over 270,000 members of the community within Walsall, South Staffordshire, and the wider Black Country.

As part of the project, the merger aimed to create a more welcoming and comfortable outdoor space, contributing to the overall well-being of individuals within the hospital community.

Willenhall steel framed seats were placed near entrances, walkways, and garden areas to provide resting spots for patients and visitors. Some of the seats were covered with our Apollo Shelters to provide comfortable rest spots for patients and visitors all year round.

Arbroath motorcycle racks provided a designated parking area for motorcyclists, enhancing convenience and organisation; whilst a few more Apollo Junior Cycle Shelters, complete with our Sheffield Cycle Stands underneath, were positioned conveniently close to main entrances to encourage cycling as a mode of sustainable transportation.

Ashmore Steel Bollards were installed to guide pedestrian and vehicular traffic, enhancing safety and organisation around the hospital grounds; and our Hoop Barriers helped secure site perimeters and control vehicular access.

In a bid to reduce litter, several of our Derby Eros Litter Bins were installed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Riviere Cast Iron Tree grilles were also installed to protect the trees and add to the aesthetics of the surroundings.
