As part of Frederick's Playground redevelopment, we were proud to supply and install a selection of street furniture that complements the playground’s dynamic spirit and natural surroundings.

The Helston Curved Seat is a standout feature, combining the warmth of timber with the strength of steel in a sleek, inviting form. This seat offers a comfortable place for visitors to rest while subtly encouraging social interaction through its gentle curve.

What truly sets the Helston and the other seating options apart is the distinctive powder-coated steel in vibrant orange. It adds a bold splash of colour and resonates beautifully with the natural landscape of Frederick's Playground, reflecting the energetic atmosphere. The powder coating provides superior resistance to weather and wear, ensuring that the furniture maintains its visual appeal and structural integrity for years to come.

Alongside the Helston, our Litchard Seats contribute a clean, modern aesthetic with their minimalist design and robust construction. These seats are ideal for straightforward yet comfortable seating that supports community engagement and casual gatherings.

The Burnage concrete cubes enrich the seating variety by offering versatile, sculptural forms that can be used as seats, informal tables, or even playful stepping stones. Their concrete finish adds an earthy texture to the playground, in a classic shape and style that won’t fall out of fashion.

Frederick's Playground itself carries a unique history and significance within the Walworth community. Previously constrained by an asbestos-contaminated site, the area has been thoughtfully transformed into an inclusive and accessible adventure playground. This redevelopment embraces diversity by incorporating natural play spaces, fitness equipment, and features designed for all abilities.
