Music, entertainment, theatre – the bandstand is no longer only found along promenades. The Broxap product range includes the Ascot Bandstand, which was inspired by a commission to create a pavilion which complemented a new modern grandstand at the famous racecourse. An octagonal deck and roof reflects the iconic traditional bandstand shape, enhanced by sleek columns and a simple balustrade as well as decorative spandrels and topped with a distinctive finial. The prestigious design not only recognises the rich history of the bandstand, but its tasteful finish is a perfect match to any contemporary surroundings.
The Isle of Wight Bandstand takes on a more ornate appearance although features toughened glass screens to act as a windbreak. Products such as the Burslem Bandstand and Bury Bandstand aim to replicate heritage styles while utilising modern UK manufacturing processes. Or for a more contemporary twist, our Rotundas follow the general shape of a bandstand topped with a tensile waterproof fabric canopy. Alternatively the Seville Canopy incorporates a curved mono-pitch roof structure to ensure performers stay dry and protected, whilst opening up the stage area so the audience can enjoy an unobstructed view.
