Broxap designs, manufactures and installs many different styles of Barrel Vault Canopy. This ranges from the classic Victorian style, constructed in cast aluminium with detailed, ornamental features, to the simple, minimalist Arc Barrel Canopy made from a shaped tensile fabric. Both offer practical shelter from the elements but deliver a completely different look and feel to an outdoor space. The Merchant Entrance Canopy is a beautiful, grand design that adds a touch of sophistication to the built environment. Its attractive, tiered shape complements traditional décor and architecture but is built to the highest modern day standards.

Barrel Vault Canopies can be incorporated into an outside space as a freestanding shelter, and our bespoke service offers optional extras such as lighting and handrails. Broxap has designed and installed Barrel Vault Canopies for many different companies. For East Midlands and Edinburgh airports, we created covered walkway designs with glazed side screens offering a safe route to and from the terminals and car parks. For Merchants House in Bradford, our teams installed a first floor balcony canopy structure to enhance the existing building exterior and provide valuable, covered open-space to the property. The business centre is located in a heritage area, surrounded by listed building so the style of the canopy was very important to the design.

Vandal resistant features have been incorporated into the basic shape of the canopy to create the Trojan Recreation Shelter, providing covered seating to playgrounds and skate parks. There is also an option to incorporate the Barrel Vault Canopy into a completely enclosed shelter.
