This school required a canopy that fulfilled two requirements, firstly the building had an access ramp which they wanted to cover. The secondary requirement was that the children utilised an area in front of the ramp as a play area.
This School required an outdoor classroom covered area and also built within it a secure storage area for toys and teaching items, these would be kept locked away at night yet not be taken back into internal classrooms and use up vital space inside.
The school had this monopitch outdoor classroom canopy designed and installed by Broxap along with an artificial grass matting surface beneath.
Broxap designed and manufactured a series of Newcastle Monopitch canopies to sit directly outside each classroom providing shelter for outdoor lessons to each.
St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School in Stafford had a budget of £10,000.00 to create an outdoor area beyond one of their existing classrooms.
Broxap designed this bespoke version of their Monopitch Canopy and introduced side Screens and doors for three quarters of the canopy allowing access out from the existing building and into the ‘new’ outdoor classroom whilst leaving a quarter at the far side to simple act as an open canopy.
Broxap supplied this Newcastle Monopitch shelter which is situated outside the existing classroom and applied a weather strip to ensure pupils could traverse into the shelter and would be dry and the shelter inside was kept dry by the addition of roller vinyl blinds, which can be raised on sunny, hot days.
